Today our son in law is being promoted to Staff sergeant. The highest rank he can attain. For your prize you may have Friday off and take middle school and high school students to Six Flags! We are proud of you Jon.

that is what you told me.
no, i said that now he was a non-commissioned officer. he could still go on to Tech Sgt. Master Sgt., Cheif Master Sgt., etc. it's as far as he will go, seeing as you have to be at this rank for 3 years before you can test to move up.
Well it is the highest rank he can attain only being in the service for four years! ha he he
