God is in charge

Saturday we had mom's memorial service. God was present. Sunday was church, God was present. Ten years ago, Rick's dad passed away very suddenly. On the Sunday after his service, Pastor Kevin preached on God and his love for us. He used the example of the giraffe. When it's born the mom kicks it to get up, then when it's standing she kicks it down to the ground, this goes on and on till the baby giraffe can get up right away without her help. Sunday Brad preached a sermon about God's love and how he is like a giraffe. Helping us to learn lessons. I have clung onto that illustration for the past 10 years and again am clinging onto it this month. Satan is attacking RCC and God will be victorious. We, me, just has to hang on to God and learn from Him daily.
